STMicroelectronics L9369-TR Datesheet

The L9369-TR is a dedicated system IC designed for Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) applications, suitable for cable-puller or Motor Gear Unit (MGU) system configurations. The device integrates two H-bridge driver stages capable of driving eight external power NFETs for rear wheel brake actuators. These stages are fully configurable via SPI, support PWM control mode, and feature comprehensive protection including overcurrent protection and drain-source/gate-source voltage monitoring. The L9369 provides synchronized motor voltage and current acquisition through fully differential amplifiers with programmable precision gain, low offset, and 10 ADC sigma-delta modulators. Two configurable high-side/low-side stages with programmable output voltage and feedforward regulation are included to drive LED arrays. Two Motor Speed Sensor (MSS) interfaces acquire position feedback from brake actuators and are shared with lamp driver stages and GPIOs. Additional interfaces include four General Purpose

Description:

The L9369 targets the specific application ofelectric parking braking, suitable for systemconfiguration in cable-puller or Motor Gear Unit(MGU).The cores are two H-bridge driver stages to drive8 external FETs for the rear wheels brakesactuators. The stages are fully driven andconfigurable via SPI, also in PWM control modeand protected against overcurrent, with drainsource and gate-source voltages monitoring.A synchronized motor voltages and currentsacquisition, is performed via full differentialamplifiers with programmable and precise gainand low offset and 10 ADC sigma-deltamodulators.Two configurable HS/LS stages are present withprogrammable output voltage to drive LED arrays,with feedforward regulation.2 Motor Speed Sensor interfaces (MSS) areavailable to acquire position feedback from brakeactuators (shared with Lamp driver stage andGPIO).The set of the interfaces is completed by 4 GPIO(General Purpose I/O) pins and a button interfaceallows to manage specific customer requirementsfrom Electronic parking braking (EPB) buttonconsole both in Normal and Sleep Mode.

 2 Motor Speed Sensors (MSS) interfaces toacquire speed information feedbacks viaexternal Hall sensors.

 System wake-up in Sleep Mode

 Watchdog (configurable via SPI)
