Description:
The ISO14xx devices are electrically isolated differential line transceivers for TIA/EIA RS-485 and RS-422 applications. These noise-immune transceivers are designed for harsh industrial environments. The bus pins of these devices can withstand high levels of IEC electrostatic discharge (ESD) and IEC electrical fast transients (EFT) events, providing system-level protection without requiring additional components on the bus. These devices are available in both basic and reinforced isolation options (see Reinforced and Basic Isolation Options).
