Description:
The LMT87-Q1 device is a precision CMOS temperature sensor with a typical accuracy of ±0.4°C (maximum ±2.7°C) and a linear analog output voltage that is inversely proportional to temperature. The 2.7-V operating supply voltage, 5.4-μA quiescent current, and 0.7-ms turn-on time enable efficient power cycling, thereby minimizing power consumption in battery-powered applications such as drones and sensor nodes. The LMT87-Q1 device is AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified, with an accuracy error of no more than ±2.7°C over the entire operating temperature range and without the need for calibration; therefore, the LMT87-Q1 is suitable for automotive applications such as infotainment, instrument clusters, and powertrain systems. The LMT87-Q1 offers high accuracy over a wide operating range, which, combined with other features, makes it an excellent alternative to thermistors.
