Overview

The Murata BLM15_SN series is a family of chip ferrite beads designed for EMI suppression on general use, high-speed signal lines, and DC power lines. Housed in a 0402 (1.0mm × 0.5mm) package, these components provide impedance values ranging from 5Ω to 1000Ω (typical at 100MHz) with rated currents from 300mA up to 3800mA and very low DC resistance down to 0.011Ω max. The series includes multiple sub‑families optimized for different applications: BLM15xx_SN for general use, BLM15AX_SN for signal lines, BLM15BA/BB_SN for high‑speed signal lines, BLM15PD/PG/PX_SN for DC power lines, and BLM15KD_SN for high‑current power lines. These ferrite beads feature no external marking, support reflow soldering, and operate over a storage temperature range of –55°C to +125°C. They are supplied on 8mm paper tape (180mm reel, 10,000 pieces per reel) and meet rigorous mechanical and environmental specifications including temperature cycling, humidity resistance, heat life, cold resistance, vibration, drop, and soldering heat tests.
