The ST1PS02DQTR from STMicroelectronics is a nano-quiescent, miniaturized synchronous step-down converter designed for space-constrained and battery-powered applications. Delivering up to 400 mA of output current from an input voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, this device excels in applications where high efficiency, small PCB size, and low thickness are critical. Utilizing enhanced peak current control (PCC), it achieves high conversion efficiency using only a 2.2 µH inductor and two small capacitors. The ST1PS02 is a nano-quiescent miniaturized synchronous step-down converter,which is able to provide up to 400 mA output current with an input voltage rangingfrom 1.8 V to 5.5 V. This converter is specifically designed for applications where highefficiency, PCB size and thickness are the key factors. The output voltage can beset using three digital control inputs, a VOUT from 1.0 V to 3.3 V can be dynamicallyselected. Thanks to the enhanced PCC (peak current control) the ST1PS02 reachesvery high efficiency conversion using just a 2.2 µH inductor and two small capacitors.The device embeds a controlled load switch to supply a subsystem with samevoltage rail. Advanced design circuitry is implemented to minimize the quiescentcurrent. The device is available in thin plastic package.
